Art and Archetypes for Women Series $195

Thursdays: 4:30pm-6:00pm -- Dec. 5th, 12th, 19th & Jan 2nd
Cost includes all four sessions, all materials included, no experience necessary!

We will create art and do exploratory work around where we have been and where we see ourselves in the future, using the structure of archetypes. Are we entering a transitional period? Where do we fit into the puzzle? What are our roles. We will focus on our roles as daughter, sister, mother, companion. Whether or not you have children or siblings, as women we still fill these roles for others in our lives. Together and individually, we will explore (with levity and fun!) the specific meaning we have assigned to each role. We will use art-making to explore the somatic (or of the body) connection to increase mindfulness and awareness around automatic thoughts which then evolve into feelings. Through this process (remember art therapy is all about the process not the product!) we begin to identify our archetypes as a means to better understand our passions and our own personal tapestry.
